Image Making: B&W Logos
In this assignment we were challenged to create a logo illustrating two words that rhyme. This logo was based on the Rhyme of "Clock Walk". I had some challenges with orientation and line balance throughout the project because making all the lines the same weight was a newer concept to me. I made multiple tweaks to the design throughout the process and came up with this on as the final image. Below you will see the an image of the page with this concept sketched as well as a few of the work in progress pieces.
Going from left to right you will see the progression of this black and white piece and will see I adjusted the posture of the clock as well as the line thicknesses slightly up until the final piece where it finally clicked in my head that all the lines should be the same thickness.
